ROLLING ALONG

Brody's second birthday party has come and gone. He is making an excellent adjustment to preschool. The other day when I went to pick him up I peaked in the window. He was sitting at the table deeply engrossed in sponge painting using the color red. On the way home I asked him what he was painting and he said Aaapulls. That's his word for apples. So cute, music to a grammies ears.
LOOk how TALL the Kenz is getting.

She is a soccer player on a local city league. Her dad is the coach of her team. She loves it, especially when she makes a goal. I work on the days her team plays but she tells me her other Nana is always on the sidelines cheering very loudly. Nevermind Soccer Mom we are talking Soccer Nana!

A fun thing Kenz and I have decided to do is to go bowling a couple times a month. We love it and they have the best  nachos with cheese and foamy icy rootbeer! I watched a few You Tube videos on how to bowl and it helped my score on our second trip to the lanes. I still don't think I want to bowl without the bumpers! Neither does Kenz.
It's  thrilling to knock those pins over, especially ALL of them in one roll. A spare is nice, too!  They also sell cute children's sock at our bowling alley. I have to say late September has been well rounded.

Such long legs on your little granddaughter! Isn't it something when a growth spurt hits? Beautiful kids. I'm glad they are doing well.

The bowling alley that our family goes to has the best fish & chips. You wouldn't think you would find great fish & chips at a bowling alley.
