La La La La.... Elmo and a Pink Pirate

I can't believe all the trouble people go to on Halloween.  Brody's neighborhood looked like a Hollywood set.... lights, camera, action.  Big Puntins and  spooky sound effects could be heard when approaching the doors.

Tick or teat!

Brody was by far, the cutest Elmo on earth!  Cousin Kenz was the prettiest pink pirate... ever. She was so sweet, helping Brody learn the ropes. She stayed right with him, helping him hold up his pumpkin to get the treats. His mom, by the way, took all the candy to the office today. He got a taste of something, but candy is not the best thing for a two. Collecting it is though... out in the DARK, with a ceiling full of stars, the cold air on your cheeks and headlights and kids everywhere, running down the sidewalks, all dressed up in costumes. There aint nothing like HALLOWEEN night.

Thank you to all the people that make it so much fun!!!!!!!!!!

Hi,

I found and enjoyed your blog - Play Wit Me Nana - and wanted to see if you could post about our personalized kids video (perhaps in your Christmas Shopping Recommendations if you do one, in another blog post, or a link on your site). I've included some info below to help you see what we're all about.

We create personalized Christmas DVDs for kids age 2-8. The video is personal, easy to buy, quite affordable, and very memorable, having received rave reviews from both parents and kids.

You can learn more here:

* watch a trailer or order for the special kids in your life - http://www.santa-dvd.com/
* here is the full video plus trailers - http://www.youtube.com/user/ekroll

In return, we could include a link on our site in our mentions/supporters section, possibly run a promotion for your readers, and if we make any sales from your readers we'd gladly send you a personalized video for a special child in your life.

Please let me know what you think, if you're interested, and if so, how many readers/visitors you have.

Thanks and (soon) Happy Holidays!

best,
-Sarah

Love the pictures! I'd like to add them to my Halloween photo gallery.

I read that Halloween is now the second most popular holiday. That's quite a change from our childhood, when grown-ups seldom dressed up or decorated, and the holiday was almost entirely for kids. It's not a bad change, though.

Susan,

Thank you for your nice comment. You may add them to your Halloween gallery if you wish. This is the first year I have not dressed up! My dauaghter was surprized. Just couldn't get it together. Next year! Halloween sure looks to be almost as big as Christmas in some neighborhoods. In ours, we didn't get any trick or treaters. Still have the little packs of M and M's, but not for long!
