Ain't nothing like being Nana!

Well I'll be!

I'm back again. You've heard the expression never stop quitting.  How bout never stop blogging! :) I still love that old smile.

 First off...

I haven't blogged in a long time because... hmmmm ... I don't know why. I think the move out of our house... put me in a slump. Not that a grandma could ever SLUMP when her grandchildren are within reach, but slumping is possible when there is so much to do.

We are finally moved in and somewhat settled. Since we were in the old house for 28 years... it has been... an adjustment.. of sorts. Somedays, I  go through the motions... make the coffee, swifter the floor, water the plants, clean the bathroom sink ... same ole same ole... with a twist. The bathroom is a mini compared to what I'm used to (and my husband feels the same.)  The kitchen appliances, floor and lighting is apartment style and the air is a little... different, a little strange. Thank goodness we can open the windows for the fresh stuff... now that the evenings are cooling a bit.

Such has been the move to the step house (as Brody calls it.)

Ant Jean was here. She took us for shaved ice.. Shaved ice... on a hot September afternoon. What a treat!

I put this one in a dream bubble. Brody turned three years old this September. Kenz and him are the apple of grandpa's eye. Can't ya tell?

September 17th. This was Aunt Rita's birthday dinner outing. You would never guess, she turned the big seven O. Brody's parents are standing behind Brody and I. Kenzie's mommy took the picture. Next to Kenzer is Rita, my niece Lara and Grandpa (aka DABA). Nana Connie is holding the one and only wonderful Brody.

Hope this fall season is giving you some nice changes!
