HO HO HO

It was a little more sunny today, but way colder than yesterday. It was freezing, for the desert that is. Somewhere in the forties.

The cold window did not deter Brody. He's waiting for Grandma to bundle up. After we got outside, I put a hat over his hood.

He got right to work pushing his shovel and throwing oranges. He loves being outside. It must be fascinating for a person his age. So many sounds and sensations!  I like it too, but my blood has gotten thin and I like it warm.

Big Tree, what a cold trunk you have!

Back in the warm house, playing with water, pouring, filling and splashing.

I did get over to see Kenz tonight, after I went for a massage, a wonderful massage. A Christmas gift to myself.

Kenz had opened an early present from her Mom. BENDAROOS. Have you seen those things yet? They are a great invention. We made the mermaid as our initial project.  They are sticks made of wax that you shape into things like animals, food, etc.  I was ranting and raving about how neat they were when Shell (my daugher) says, I can just see it now, Bendaroos will be all over the blog. How right she is! When a good thing comes along I like to share it! I forgot my camera or I would have a picture of Kenz and the mermaid. Instead I will leave you with my five dollar find from Walmart.
